Easter Tablescapes 2012
It is so easy to create beautiful tablescapes without spending a lot of money. You can use Easter candies, things from around the house and the yard. Above you will see the first tablescape which is our kitchen table decorated with a little more of the whimsy side and playful. We used Easter Reeses pieces eggs for the candies and the beautiful mango/orange candles. We then added to orange buckets with grass and fun playful artificial eggs.
Then we move into the formal dinning area which is still a little playful but more decorative with the place settings. We used Willow House vases with artificial grass and eggs and in the center used Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans (by the way that smell and taste out of this world). We placed the vases on glass mirrors and added a little "bling" just because I like BLING.
Next is the big table set up in our living area (because on any given holiday there are at least 30 people and sometimes 50). We used a combination of natural and artificial elements from our home and yard. I wanted to do something a little more simple this year. Everyone loved the decor on the big dinning table. artificial flowers were used in glass jar containers with live moss in the bottom from the yard. We then used candle sticks with small grapevine wreaths purchased from Hobby Lobby and decorated them with a little Spanish moss and added malted candy bird eggs. I used a live plant that I have in the kitchen throughout the year. Added some glass bunnies, iron birds, wooden bird houses, and a bird candle. A few votive candles were added to the tablescape for the finishing touches. We then used a little bit of toile for the chairs to dress them up a bit.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you get some new ideas to use at your next holiday function.
Praise the Lord we serve a risen Savior.
